Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube / Google (Goolag) have been caught wrongfully silencing critics multiple times, and can now be sued for it. They have been doing this for YEARS. There have been options available to get by without those platforms for years, but since they're so large, they're basically a public square, making this a necessity.
